T-Shirts,
Trophy and Yearbook
Fred's Camp shirts should be worn on field trip days. A complimentary
t-shirt will be provided during the first week of camp. Additional
t-shirts may be purchased during the precamp meeting and during
the summer. Every camper receives a trophy at the end of the summer
and a yearbook mailed to them during the winter.
Transportation
Door to door transportation, where possible, is included in tuition
for each family living within Fred's Camp boundaries and whose
home is accessible by school bus. Boundaries are subject to change.
Families that are outside of bus service areas are welcome to meet
at central pick up/drop off points. Busing
is not guaranteed after May 15. Boundaries: 4200 North,
South - Randolph, 1600 West. South Loop & Bucktown/Wicker Park
bussing subject to number of children involved.
AfterCamp Care
AfterCamp care is available from 3:00-6:00pm everyday (except August
8) at a daily cost of $16 per child. All children picked up after
3:30pm are considered staying for AfterCamp.
Please note, you are
responsible for AfterCamp fees if your child is signed out on a
colored piece of paper. Aftercamp fees are due on the day that
it is used. It is important to remember that any parent picking
up a child later than 6:00 p.m. will be charged $1 per minute,
per child. The late charge will be paid directly to the supervising
counselors as compensation for extending their day beyond what
was expected.
Lunches
Please send a lunch in a disposable bag Monday-Thursday. The lunches
will be refrigerated during the camp day except on field trips.
Fred's Fabulous Franks will be served on Fridays (except August
8). All campers are given a cold snack at the end of the day.
Field Trips
Junior Camp field trips are on Wednesdays.
Senior Camp field trips are on Tuesdays.
Tween Camp field trips are on Mondays & Thursdays.
Pre Camp Meeting
There is a pre camp meeting on Saturday, June 14 in the late afternoon/early
evening. More information will come in the Spring. |
